  • To ensure that all schools in the federation provide a strong and innovative education within a broad and balanced curriculum equipping their pupils for the next stage of their education as well as ensuring they can make useful contributions to society.
  • To support our schools in the preparation and transition into primary schools, as our local context changes into a 2 tier strucuture from September 2025.
  • To support the development of wider provision development, including the enhancement of Seedlings 2 year old provision, the opening of 'The Tweed Unit' Special school unit and the expansion of forest school across all settings to include all year gorups.
  • To ensure the effective development of staff within a supportive environment which ensures their wellbeing.
  • To grow our existing partnership and, where appropriate, federate with new schools to enhance our current offer. This includes the development of marketing communication for the federation, that effectively demonstrates Tweed Learning and its services to existing and prospective stakeholders.
